The Power of Community
It’s amazing to see what we can achieve as a community when faced with adversity. Thank you to our 'Co' who were involved in the Mums & Co-VID19 Taskforce.
"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." – Coretta Scott King (American author, activist, civil rights leader)
At Mums & Co we pride ourselves on being a strong community which provides support to the business owning mums of Australia. We have always been here for our Members first but there is another key element to Mums & Co, our ‘Co’. The extended community of experts, partners, family and friends who support the business owning mums every day.
Recent times have been tough for small business owners, with COVID-19 impacting on almost every aspect of how we live and work. One of the unexpected outcomes of this challenge has been the positive way in which communities have come together. The generosity of spirit from individuals and organisations alike has been second to none.
We wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate our ‘Co’ that came together to support the business owning women of Australia during these tough times.
The Mums & CoVID19 Taskforce
In March we reached out to our business community, our ‘Co’, and they rallied together spectacularly to set up the Mums & CoVID19 Taskforce - most whilst running their own business’ from home!
The Mums & CoVID19 Taskforce aimed to provide immediate support to the 345,000 business owning mums across Australia. The Taskforce created a series of webinars, complimentary access to Mums & Co benefits for 3 months, access to one-on-one online sessions with business leader experts and anytime 24/7, anywhere support via an AI driven chatbot.
